How to Get the Best Measurement

To ensure that the measurements you take for your child are the best match, a few tips on how to get the best measurements are listed below:

Neck
Measure around the neck at the point where the top of the collar would sit. Allow some rome for comfort (one finger should be able to sit neatly in the space between your skin and the tape measure).
Chest (boys)
Measuring under the arms, the child should stand naturally while the tape goes around the fullest part of the chest and the shoulder blades. The more natural the stance, the more comfortable the fit - so no deep breaths in!
Bust (girls)
Measure (under the arms) the fullest part of the bust around the shoulder blades.
Waist (boys)
Measure while wearing under garments, at the point where you like your pants to site (i.e. the belt line). Leave enough room for one finger to fit between the tape measure and your body.
Waist (girls)
Measure while wearing under garments, around the natural waistline.
Hip (girls)
Standing naturally, measure over any under garments at the fullest part of the hips.
